OS Hockey
Training the Next Generation of Champions

Minnesota state champion. National collegiate champion. WCHA Defensive Player of the Year. Team USA. WWHL champion. World champion.
Winny Brown has one of the most impressive resumes in all of hockey. She is now training the next generation of champions at OS Hockey, the business she owns with her husband Justin Brown who is also a former collegiate and professional hockey player.
Winny started OS Hockey soon after she graduated from the University of Minnesota with the goal of training future generations of female hockey players. Combining her hockey background with years of personal fitness training, she created the OS Hockey training program.
Justin uses his background in operations and finance to manage the day to day operations of their rapidly growing business. He’s implemented new systems to makes their business operate more efficiently while continuing to perfect Winny’s vision for OS Hockey.
The goals for OS Hockey have always been to deliver an exceptional training environment designed specifically for female athletes and to create an inclusive setting that nurtures physical development, social interaction, and intellectual growth while providing unparalleled athletic opportunities for college and beyond.
OS Hockey’s curriculum is designed specifically to address the strategic, conceptual, and mental understanding of the sport critical to achieving higher levels of play, while focusing on the development of athleticism, including speed, strength and conditioning.
To date, more than 350 OS Hockey students have committed to Division 1 collegiate hockey programs across the country. OS Hockey also has four full-time employees that work with the athletes and many other part-time instructors, all of who have played or are currently playing women’s collegiate or professional hockey.
When Winny and Justin wanted to expand OS Hockey, North American Banking Company was there to help, providing financing to help build a new year round training facility in Roseville, MN, the same city where Winny first won a high school hockey championship with the Roseville Raiders.
“Our relationship with North American Banking Company has become integral to the growth and success of our company over the past 15 years,” said Justin. “They have constantly evolved with the industry to provide new products and services, while maintaining a clear strategy around their core competencies that continually meet the needs of their customers.”
