Bradley G. Huckle

Bradley Huckle

Brad Huckle, North American Banking Company’s president and chief lending officer, is a man on a mission to help Twin Cities businesses develop, grow, and prosper.

Brad built his career—and many local companies, including Corporate Real Estate Brokers, Houck Machine Co., and Wealshire of Bloomington—by helping entrepreneurs and small business owners navigate their way through the competitive, and often intimidating, world of banking.

He started out in 1983 as a commercial credit analyst and quickly found his niche in the small business market. By 1989, Brad was responsible for all Small Business Administration (SBA) lending for 13 Minnesota offices of MidAmerica Bank. Under his leadership, the bank ended the year as one of Minnesota’s top 10 SBA banks.

Demonstrating exemplary business development strategies and management skills, Brad was promoted to senior vice president and put in charge of a $70 million business unit.

A few years later, he advanced his career even further when he was named chief credit officer of Princeton Bank. His responsibilities included managing both the sales and administration of the bank’s commercial loans. The bank thrived under Brad’s leadership, and its loan portfolio grew from $64 million to $100 million, again with an emphasis on SBA lending.

In 1997, Brad left Princeton Bank to fulfill a lifelong goal of starting his own bank. He joined forces with Michael Bilski —the two men worked together at Princeton Bank —to launch North American Banking Company in 1998. More than twenty years later, the bank is now one the Twin Cities’ strongest community banks.

The son of a career U.S. Marine Corps pilot, Brad graduated from the University of Minnesota with degrees in business administration and agricultural economics.

He lives on Lake Johanna in Arden Hills and enjoys training for, traveling to, and competing in cycling races and triathlons. He also enjoys cooking, going out for spicy food, and spending time with his family, especially his twenty-something son Keith.
