Oakdale Precision

Like many entrepreneurs, Scott Justesen and Rick Rinehart saw an opportunity to start a business together based on work that a larger company was planning on outsourcing.

In their case, they had been working together at 3M in their precision machining area. When 3M started outsourcing their machine work, Scott and Rick saw the opportunity to do the work themselves and in 1996, they started Oakdale Precision.

Oakdale Precision has continuously grown since 1996 and they have added new machinery and capabilities as the needs of their customers have changed.

Today, Oakdale Precision specializes in quick turnaround on engineering models, prototypes, special machine parts and assemblies. They have extensive experience in both CNC (computer numerical controlled) and manual machining.

Oakdale Precision provides engineering, milling, turning, sheet metal fabrication, welding, custom tool grinding and inspection services. Their quality management system is ISO:9001 (2015) certified and they are ITAR registered.

One thing that hasn’t changed since 1996 is their business banker. Senior VP/Business Banking Brad Benesh has been with them since the beginning, providing consistent and knowledgeable banking services as Oakdale Precision has continued to grow. Recently, when a big opportunity with a new customer required new machinery to boost their capacity, they reached out to Brad, who was able to quickly secure the financing they needed to meet the needs of their new customer.
