Bartz Lawn & Landscaping

As a teen, Austin Bartz had provided landscaping services in his neighborhood in New Brighton. In 2015, he decided to pursue it as a business after working multiple inside desk jobs as a young adult. Along with his brother Connor, he started Bartz Lawn & Landscape.

Today, Austin enjoys providing a wide range of outdoor services throughout the Twin Cities, including enormous snow sculptures which have garnered national media attention for their creativity. The sculptures have also raised over $100,000 for charity.

“We're known for the guys that do a lot of different things,” Austin explains. “We do landscaping, lawn care, we build snow sculptures in the winter, we trim trees, we build decks, we try to do it all… we love mixing it up.”

After a referral from CEO Michael Bilski, Austin made the switch from his big, national bank to North American Banking Company.

Being a community bank, Austin highlighted the significance of immediate assistance when it comes to his banking needs. “I can call in and somebody answers the phone right away…they know who I am. We can get the situation figured out right away rather than sitting on hold for half an hour waiting for somebody to help me out with a simple issue.”

Previously, Austin dealt with mobile deposit issues because of his daily limit. When he came to North American Banking Company in Shoreview, the bankers were happy to raise his daily deposit limit which saved Austin time and he no longer had to go into the bank every day.

Austin uses the mobile banking app on a daily basis to view all of his accounts at once. “I can see my account, and I can see our business account…it's nice that we can all have all of our accounts under one viewership so I can watch them without logging in multiple times.”
