A new business gets their start with North American Banking Company

Theory Z Media started as an idea between four friends and co-workers. Cy Zaeske, Natalie Siebenaler, Mike Berg and Lance Matthews had worked together for different companies in digital and traditional media over the years but longed to go out on their own and create their own organization and culture. In 2019, they took the leap together and started Theory Z Media.

They named their company for a consensus management style based on building cooperative relationships with their peers, employees, and customers. Theory Z of Ouchi is Dr. William Ouchi's so-called "Japanese Management" style popularized during the Asian economic boom of the 1980s. For Ouchi, Theory Z focused on increasing employee loyalty to the company by providing a job for life with a strong focus on the well-being of the employee, both on and off the job. According to Ouchi, Theory Z management tends to promote stable employment, high productivity, and high employee morale and satisfaction.

When the partners were ready to launch their business, they set up a meeting with the team at North American Banking Company not only to set up their accounts but to get answers to their questions.

Today, Theory Z Media is a full-service agency specializing in marketing and media planning, television, OTT (over-the-top), and digital media like search engine marketing, search engine optimization, display advertising and social media. They create and manage digital marketing campaigns for medical clinics, home service companies, financial service institutions, construction companies, institutions of higher learning, and more.
